Delete it yourself, in the game
This is the fastest way and it takes effect immediately.
- Open COPU.
- Go to Account & wallet.
- Open the Danger zone section at the bottom.
- Tap Delete account & progress.
- Confirm with Delete permanently. If you had linked a Google or Apple account, you are asked to sign in once more first — an unlocked phone on a table should not be enough to erase your progress.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the in-app route — a lost or replaced device, or an uninstalled app — email commonlistapp@gmail.com with the subject COPU account deletion.
Send it from the email address of the Google or Apple account you linked to COPU, if you can. We may need to ask a question or two to be sure the account is yours, because an account we delete for the wrong person is someone else's progress destroyed.
We act without undue delay and in any case within one month of your request, as the GDPR requires, and we tell you when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your COPU account itself, in Firebase Authentication, including the link to Google or Apple.
- Your cloud save: campaign progress, stars, quests and daily state, unlocked cosmetics, and game settings stored with the account.
- Your COPUCOIN balance and your boost inventory.
- Your boost-use and operation records, and any backup copies of replaced saves.
Game data still stored locally on a device is removed when you uninstall the app. On Android, COPU switches off Android Auto Backup, so a deleted profile cannot reappear from a Google Drive backup after a reinstall.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase and accounting records — where you bought COPUCOIN, tax and accounting law obliges us to keep the transaction record for the period it requires, typically several years. These are financial records, not game data, and they are never used to rebuild your account.
- A completed-deletion marker — a single record saying your deletion finished, kept for 24 hours so a repeated request cannot restart the process, then removed automatically.
- Technical and security logs — kept briefly by our infrastructure providers under their standard retention.
- Support correspondence — kept only as long as needed to show that your request was handled, then deleted.
What deletion does not do
Deleting your COPU account does not cancel or refund a purchase in Google Play or the App Store, and does not touch your Google or Apple account. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from; see our Terms of Use and, if you need a hand, COPU Support.
Starting again
You are welcome back any time. Reinstalling or playing again creates a brand-new account with no progress — the campaign starts from the first level, and any COPUCOIN from before is gone.
